The “WIN” of Campus Ministry is to see campuses impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.
Since 1966, the FCA Ministry has been present on campuses across the country. Campus Ministry is done in small groups -- we call them Huddles.
They are initiated and led by student-athletes and coaches on junior high, high school and college campuses. The purpose of Campus Ministry, through various types, has been to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost and to seek to grow and mature followers of Jesus Christ.
Generally, campus huddles are in multi-sport or single-team formats. A multi-sport huddle is a small group bible study for coaches and athletes from multiple sports teams. A team huddle is targeted study (weekly devotion, team chapel) within a unique individual team setting/environment that encourages and challenges team members to live and compete according to biblical principles.
The best answer to this question is “Wherever works best for your huddle.” There is a lot of flexibility. Multi-sport huddles can meet in a variety of locations (churches, homes, athletic facilities, etc.). Ultimately, this is determined by what works best for the huddle members.
